Need Some Hard Info
Hey TCF'ers I am requesting some hard information. I would really appreciate if everyone besides Joey, Carl, and Jody letting me know of your intentions. The cabin/house rental is starting to get real intense, and we need to have a firm understanding who is going, and who is not. There are so many different housing options, on different lakes. They all seem very nice. If you could respond to the e-mail on the right side of this site, I would really appreciate it, and if you have the change to search for houses/cabins in the area of NY, NH, VT, or ME by all means go ahead. We are looking for at least 2 bathrooms, and enough beds for everyone, no sleeper sofas. We are also looking for Lake Trout or Land Locked Salmon.
Thanks

Trip for the Spring

Hey Everyone,
Well believe it or not it is already time to be thinking about the spring trip. We have begun looking into several places, but with the exchange rate being what it is, Canada is probably going to be out of the question. We have looked into New York State, and also Maine.
Maine has some interesting areas, one lake is called Moosehead Lake, it is in the same Longitude as where we fished in Canada. The one interesting thing is the Lake has Salmon in it. I think that would be cool. The other exciting thing about the lake is that it has 450 miles of shore front. (Please bring your GPS), but it isn't a lot of wide open water, it is more bays, nooks and cranny's, there are some wide open spaces, and they would have to be avoided in heavy weather. The rates for Cabins and Houses, is actually a little cheaper than where we stayed last year.
The one nice thing is that even though we would drive another 150 miles, we could bring as much American beer or Booze, with out a penalty or a stop at the border. All things considered it would probably be the same price as going to Canada. Check it out on Google and let us know what you think.
I for one am up for the adventure, it would be especially cool to see a moose in the water, not to mention a bald eagle.
Take Care
