Great Come Back Guys!

Hi everyone,

We had a great return to Canada trip this year.  It was great to finally get back on to the 31 mile lac, and the wonderful place we stay.  Very nice to catch up with everyone, and sit and reminisce about the years gone by.  We had our MOST productive year ever fishing, and not sure if that was due to the incredible skill we all possess, or the fact that the lake had a two year break from fisherman, either way, we had a great year.  For the record we landed 36 Trout weighing in at 122 lbs and 11 ozs.

We had a great time at the Harbor Hotel, and even had enough time to check out the park and walk down by the sea way.

The weather was good for the most part, we had our sun, cold and rain, but at least each evening towards the end of the week, the rain would stop and allow us our night fishing run.

In true TCF fashion, we got involved in some motor repair, in this case an impeller on a 9.9 evinrude.  I enjoyed working with Carl on this project, and we had it done in about 1.5 hours, and of course it worked flawlessly.

Played corn hole quite a bit, and we have a couple of great players in the group.. Crazy shots were being made by all the guys, and playing on the deck is always a challenge, but we had a great time.

Vince cooked up a fresh trout on the grill, and as usual he did a fantastic job.  Nothing like eating fresh trout right out of the lake.

John maintains the white board each year, to record the winners of both "The One" and the "Banjo Ziggy", these result are engraved on our plaques, and displayed for all to enjoy.  Vince working closely with John, took it up a notch this year by creating a spreadsheet that calculates all of the daily recorded data, and produces a computerized version of the white board.  Rumor has it that it will be available in the app stores come spring!

Here are the results of this years TCF Fishing Tournament, and our first group photo in quite awhile.

Jody once again, thanks for doing all of the shopping and running around for us, as usual you did a fantastic job.  It wasn't easy though, since the hotel rooms, and house, had to be carried through the covid years, and required a lot of communication.

Thanks again guys for a great trip this year.  I enjoyed it immensely.
