Hi Everyone,
Been having a great time on the lake, fishing is slow, but the lake is beautiful as always, and the sunsets are breathtaking. The only real complaint we have are the enormous amount of black flies. When we went to fuel yesterday at the Marina, I needed to wear the mesh net over my head. Carl remarked that it actually looked like my hat was alive, with the amount of flies on it.
Today (Tuesday) we had planned to take a trip down to Cross Lake, but Mother nature foiled that plan with very gusty winds. The lake has white caps, and it was decided this morning to scrub the mission. Might turn out to be a great day for outdoor shuffle board.
I will talk to you later as to how the day went.
