Well the boys are back on the Lake. We miss those guys who could not make it this year. We had a nice ride up on Friday, and Teddy and Mary also rode with us up to Syracuse, which was nice, because I could spend a little more time with him, before he had to return to LA.
Although, the Travel Lodge is no more, we stayed at the Quality Inn, which had rooms that were even a little nicer in my opinion. The Quality Inn, also has a miniature golf course which resulted in some late evening beer drinking and golfing. We spiced it up a bit, because John had a pitching wedge which lent an exciting edge to certain holes.
Mikes barge, was in the shop for repairs, so we were forced to ferry all of our belongings over to the island with our boats, which took some time, but slowing us down a bit was good, because it was very hot and humid.
The Piggy Bank crew headed to the honey hole on Saturday and immediately began hauling trout on the down rigger set up. The Fish Hawk crew, went with the long line, but will little success.
Sunday Carl finally broke the ice with a small trout, and Jimmy got on the board as well. We will keep you updated as the trip continues.
