The Competitive Edge

Gentleman of The TCF, we are almost at the 1 month mark. With that being said the traditional “Banjo and Ziggy”, and “The One” trophies are being sent to the engraver. Believe it or not we have been doing this for the past 5 years! Here are the historical winners. (Notice the steady rise in the team total weight).

*The only member attending the 2016 trip to never appear on the “Banjo and Ziggy” is Jim (Sorry Jim)

 I want to continue this tradition this year even with just 6 of us attending the 2016 trip. This will give us 3 teams of 2 with Vince and Ted repeating as champions. I know there was some talk of a friendly boat to boat competition this year, but since it’s hard to engrave 3 names and it would skew the historical data I would like to keep the same format.

 However, I’m very open to a friendly boat competition. We can discuss prizes later… maybe another trophy “Boat of the Year” ? (I could even get that one made now and save time!)
