Goodbye Bishop

Today we say a heart felt goodbye to Bishop Rysz.  Bishop touched many of our members in some way.  Some were baptized, some received First Holy Communion as well as Confirmation and some of our members were married by him.

He was a very giving man, who worked very hard for the Church he loved so much.  Just last week he did the Stations of the Cross at the Nanticoke Parish.  He always found the time to attend our family functions, and offer Grace before each meal he ate with us.  He had a great personality, and was a lot of fun to be around.  His stories from his younger days were always entertaining and I enjoyed the way he told a story.

I will miss him very much.  He has been there for so many things in our lives, he was a constant that will never be replaced.  Rest in Peace Bishop.
