Everyone is having motor problems. All three vessels were affected. The Fish Hawk is experiencing problems with the 50 hp. I definitely think it will be making a much needed trip to Piazza Marine in Dupont for a Carb overhall.
The Purple Machine experienced a major problem with the 9.9 Evenrude it failed while trolling today. Carl is looking into it.
The Smoker Craft is undergoing major problems with the 24 volt trolling motor. As if this wasn't enough, we are having all kind of electronic problems. Jody's brand new hummingbird fish finder is acting up. We are lucky in the regard that Ted's is the same model, so we have been troubleshooting that situation. Jody is going to send it back when we get home.
The water is very high on the lake, due to the fact that there was some severe flooding down below after the rain storms last week. They are holding water so as not to exasperate the situation down stream.
Fishing Report:
Carl has the only keeper so far 5.6 pounds. Vince had a four pounder, John had a few small ones, Everyone else is still searching. "And thats why the call it fishing, not catching"

No C-S from the big man. Carl will visit marina for repair. I am going to clean my carb bowls. Vince made a wire change that corrected the trolling motor problem. I will keep you upto date
