NEW and IMPROVED

Gentleman,

We are only 37 days till we leave for the great white north! Wow did that go fast. I figured since we are only about a month away I wanted to give an update to the new and improved 2012 TCF.

#1 Thanks to Carl and Jimmy each boat will be equipped with a hand held GPS /radio. This means that you will actually be able to see where each boat is on the water while communicating. This is a huge improvement to our safety. "Where are you guys?" "On the island...the one with the trees and water all around"

#2 Teddy is the captain of a brand new boat. (Miss you Red and White). Now what are we going to use to anchor the dock to land?

#3 The fundraisers went great. Thanks to the help from the senior members for making kielbasa another success. Jim and John helped coordinate the first ever TCF college basketball tourney and we raised 100 bucks for the club. Not to bad... that's half a tank of gas!

#4 It looks like Vince will be the first member to take an international flight to meet us in Pembroke on Friday evening. I lost that bet... always thought it would be Carl.

#5 For the first time ever, our fishing tourney will not include money. Only a trophy, and yes we have a defending champ in each category. Carl and Joey return as defenders of the Banjo and Ziggy award (Team champions) and Vince for the biggest trout.

#6 John and Vince are currently researching the cost and use of a fishing guide service for 1 day. If the cost is right we might sign us up. Didn't the last guide the TCF used send us to the "upper" at least once a week? Maybe that isnt a great idea.

#7 And of course we are going for the first time to ket-chun-eny lodge. They hold weddings there! Can you imagine a wedding outside the slanted orange cabins of Marcos? This has to be a major improvement. They have a hot tub, pool tables, basketball court, and internet access! Can't wait! And the fishing is supposed to be good! If not.. make sure you give Vince some business on dragging us all the way to Temagami! (I know he wont read that so I can blame him).
