2012 Fishing Tournament

Well TCF'ers... we are almost there. And if you all remember last year at this time I proposed a fishing contest that I think went over really well! I know that it was pretty fun to look at the white board each night and see the one fish that was caught that day and where you and your teammate stood in the standings. (The one fish a day thing is Vince's fault and we will fix that this year).

Anyway, I wanted to update you all on this because we are going to do it again! (The rules will be the same...I will provide a copy... yet slightly modified to accommodate a team of 3...Really excited to have TR3 with us this year!) However, this time there is no money on the line. We can still collect a small amount of money if you want, but because the TCF was built around friends and family I went another route. Today, I worked with a small engraving shop in Harrisburg and designed 2 continuous plaques that we can take with us each year. The winners of the team contest will have their names engraved as champions that year. Along with that, the person that catches the biggest trout (by weight) will have their name, year, and weight on the other plaque.

I hope you are all OK with this. Carl and Joey will defend their 2011 team title (aka.. "The Banjo & Ziggy) this year and Vince of his biggest trout (asa "The "ONE""). Their names..weights...and lake will be on the plaque in the 2011 slot and will be presented with it on Friday the 25th. We can bring these with us each year going forward.
