The only sticking point I can see in this whole thing is the scales. What can we do to make sure they are all pretty close.
I had a bad experience with this one time. However I feel that our group is much more mature than some of the older guys that use to do this at Marco's.
Maybe we could calibrate them with a one pound weight when we get there, so we are all equal

I think this is a great idea. Good job John. I agree we will have to calibrate the scales at the start. and probably afterwords also. We should probably get three relatively good digital scales for the boats as spring scales go bad very quickly and are highly dependent on temp. I think they have come way down in price recently and I would have no problem buying 1 for the boat I am in.
