TCF Member Can See Russia from his Cabin!

Hi All,

Alaska is quite beautiful. Things here are on a very grand scale. Today it was a dry 24 F and felt like about 50. That is going to change tomorrow, they have a wind advisory for sustained winds of 100+ MPH with gusts. Its going to be colder. They have not gotten much snow this year in the valley.

Today I had some interaction with the local wild life. My friend went to the store and a Moose came up to the house. I tried to bring his dog in and ... lets just say Moose are not afraid of humans. This very large Moose had bad breath and runs much faster than me. I just made it into the house and she lost interest. She could have come thru the door like it was not there. i took her picture after she calmed down.

I think this would be a great place for a TCF trip.
